Destash Market

Happy Friday everyone,

Looking for something to do tomorrow? Why not call in to the Destash Market at The Entrance on the beautiful Central Coast. I will be there with lots of stuff going cheap. Retired Kaszazz products, some of my pre-Kaszazz stash, material, beads and anything else I can get organised in time. Why not call in and say hi and "bag a bargain".

There will be loads to see and do.  Why not pop by for a coffee and sausage sizzle?  Ladies there will be plenty to entertain the men and children in your lives whilst you shop, shop, shop.  You may even wish to pick up an application form for the next market in October.  That way you can do a destash yourself and have money to buy more!

Exciting News

Good morning friends,

It is a beautiful crisp winters morning here. Hopefully a breeze will spring up shortly so I can get my washing dry today. How's the weather where you are?

Exciting news ... in less than 2 weeks Kaszazz will release a new Catalogue! Lots of new and exciting products will be coming our way but of course that also means we must say goodbye to some old favourites to make way for all the new goodies.

The list of retiring products has now been released and you can see that by following the link below. These products are available to order until the 31st July or until sold out (whichever happens first) so if there is something you want eg ink refills, then I suggest you contact me urgently so I can place an order for you.

There is also a list of products that have already sold out and will no longer be available however if it is highlighted in yellow it means I have a small supply which you can purchase but it will be first in, first served. Don't delay!!!

Hi there friends

Well the day has finally arrived (almost). I am heading off early tomorrow morning for a fantastic workshop. Yes, you guessed it ... with Tim Holtz!

I am very fortunate to have qualified for an exclusive Kaszazz workshop run by the man himself. My bags are packed and I can't wait to get my fingers inky tomorrow morning and learn some fantastic techniques.

CFC#42 Hey Baby!

It's challenge time again over at CAS-ual Fridays and this week it's all about babies!

This was perfect timing for me as I attended a baby shower last weekend for a dear friend who is expecting a little miracle baby in the next couple of months. She doesn't know what she is having (I think the surprise at the end is worth waiting for) and her favourite colour is green. So here is the card I came up with.

I've used an A5 Ivory card base with Chocolate and Mint SB Essentials for layering. The stamps used are 4372KQ Baby Words Background and 4379KG BABY. I also used 1704LF Baby Verse 2 (Babies are Such a Special way to Start People) on the inside of the card.  These were all stamped with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink.

I love the way projects evolve when you actually sit down to make them. The original idea in my head didn't include ribbon and then once the ribbon was on the card I just HAD to add buttons! Very last minute but I am happy with the outcome. As usual, all products used are Kaszazz.

A Sketch Challenge!

Today I'm sharing something a little different. I don't know about you but I like to visit a few challenge blogs for inspiration. Although I have made cards following the criteria of a "challenge", I have never officially participated in said challenge. Well, I have finally done it.

It is a sketch challenge this week at CAS-ual Fridays so I thought I would give it a go. Why not pop on over and see all the gorgeous entries. You never know, you might just participate yourself next time.

Here is my humble little card.  As usual all products used are Kaszazz.  I hope you like it.

I apologise for the poor photo quality.  I have had a bad sinus headache all morning and I just couldn't get it right.  Add to that the rainy, gloomy weather and this is what I ended up with.

A Card Share

Hi there,

I hope all of my Australian readers enjoyed their Australia Day holiday yesterday. It rained on and off here all day so our flag didn't fly however we did enjoy a BBQ for dinner ... boned leg of lamb marinated in mint jelly, honey and rosemary accompanied by a simple salad. Yum!

I thought I would share a card I created earlier this month for an 18th Birthday with a black and white theme.

I decided to keep the inside of the card simple and allow the handwritten message to take centre stage ...

Well the day has finally arrived when I can share the new Kaszazz products with you.

We have expanded our SB paper range and there are co-ordinating stamps as well. There are also new quick kits and we now sell Inkssentials Enamel Accents and Crackle Accents. If you are a “Beyond the Page” crafter you will be thrilled to hear that we now sell Inkssentials Glue N’ Seal in both Gloss and Matt finishes and for all of my “Scrapbooking” customers we now have 12” dies (and plates) for the Ezy-Press. Add to this our new 1” ribbons, Distress Embossing Inkpad, a journal and journal pockets, and all the products that were pre-released last year and there really is something for everyone.
